LMDS Activities
The Jishuken process is a department level, management led improvement activity that primarily targets cost reduction. This is a pro-active, intense exercise that looks at both systems and processes. Once targets have been agreed upon, Jishuken teams begin the process of determining root cause and develop countermeasures.
Lean Management Development Systems (LMDS) serves the departments as: Leader Support/Advisor, Jishuken Team participant and as a trainer of the necessary tools to identify and solve the problems.

Since 1994, Lean Management Development Systems (LMDS) has provided support in assisting departments in eliminating problems found at the start of production (SOP) of new models. Working with department management teams, LMDS specializes in supporting cross department activities.

Training Programs:
Lean Job Instruction (LJI) Training – LJI is a proven 4-step approach to train new and existing members in learning a process. It teaches our leaders a method to teach others with a positive impact to Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost. It reinforces the importance of proper training from the member to the leader levels.
Lean Business Practices (LBP) –
LBP is how we apply the “Toyota Way” to our jobs daily. This course prepares members to effectively utilize LMDS’s 8 step approach to solve problems in their work place.
Quality Circle Leader and Advisor- Leaders will develop the facilitation skills necessary to identify a problem, lead the Circle through LBP, documenting the process, and effectively present the result to management. Advisors will learn how QC circles work and how personal action and behaviors to influence a circle's outcome. Advisors learn how to coach the circle members through questioning, comments, and participation. We will empower your workforce through problem solving activities.
